Dr. Joseph A. Carew serves as Founder and Chair of Design Draft International (DDI). With three decades of distinguished experience in Nigeria's oil and gas sector, he has established himself as a transformative industry leader. As CEO of one of the industry's foremost capacity-building firms, Dr. Carew brings extensive expertise that has been developed during his tenure at NETCO/NNPC and Delta Afrik (now Worley Parsons Nigeria). His leadership as the former General Secretary of the Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (OGTAN) underscores his commitment to indigenous content development. Throughout his career, Dr. Carew has collaborated with all major international oil companies in Nigeria, leaving significant contributions in design engineering across numerous oil fields. Having successfully managed over 50 major industry projects, he continues to expand his influence into manufacturing sectors. A technology enthusiast specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence, Dr. Carew has strategically positioned DDI at the forefront of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, integrating cutting-edge technologies to provide superior engineering services and maintain a competitive advantage.
